Format. Communication station, approximately 7–10 minutes active time after reading. You are the psychiatry registrar in outpatient clinic. [4]
Candidate instructions. The patient has PTSD after a car crash. Explain what trauma-focused psychological therapy means, outline two options (prolonged exposure and EMDR) in plain language, address the fear of "having to relive it", describe what sessions involve, mention what the guideline says about medication, and agree a collaborative next step.
