Prompt
A capnography trace from a child under sevoflurane anaesthesia showing the end-tidal CO2 falling toward zero with the loss of the normal waveform, alongside a falling oxygen saturation.
Stimulus
A capnography trace from a 3-year-old under sevoflurane anaesthesia. The normal square-wave trace has diminished to a low-amplitude, then flattened to a near-zero trace, with the loss of the normal waveform. The oxygen saturation is falling from 98 to 85 per cent.
