Prompt
Simultaneous arterial and CVP waveforms showing a normal arterial trace but a CVP with an exaggerated respiratory swing and a low mean pressure of 2 mmHg.
Stimulus
Simultaneous arterial and CVP traces. The arterial trace shows a normal upstroke and morphology but an exaggerated respiratory swing (the systolic falling significantly with each inspiration). The CVP trace shows a low mean of 2 mmHg with the normal a-c-x-v-y pattern but the exaggerated variation.
