Meeting a patient who wants to appeal — CASC advocacy and communication station

A 34-year-old man detained on an inpatient unit asks to meet you. He wants to appeal his detention, wants his sister excluded from all discussions, and wants his advance statement — written six months ago in remission — to be followed. He is guarded, angry that 'nobody reads what I wrote', and says the last admission ended with a depot he never agreed to.
