Prompt
You are the gynaecology registrar on the oncology ward. A 59-year-old woman with stage IIIC high-grade serous ovarian cancer and a germline BRCA2 mutation has just completed her sixth cycle of carboplatin-paclitaxel with a complete radiological response. The oncologist asks you to discuss maintenance therapy with her and to manage a question about numbness in her fingers. The examiner will take you through the maintenance decision, the mechanism of action, the toxicity, and a febrile emergency.
Station format
Four minutes reading, twelve minutes examination, 20 marks, global scoring across the eight RANZCOG oral domains. [8]
