Damage-control resuscitation of the haemorrhaging trauma patient
A CICM Second-Part SAQ on damage-control resuscitation — the blood-products-not-crystalloid principle, the 1:1:1 ratio, the early tranexamic acid (CRASH-2, within 3h), the permissive hypotension until the bleeding is controlled, and the prevention of the lethal triad, then the switch to the restrictive threshold (TRICC).
